Rage

A state of fury that increases offensive power at a cost.

Status: Rage

Rage is a double-edged status effect that trades control or defense for raw power.

Effects

  • Damage Boost: Significantly increases Physical Damage dealt.
  • Defense Penalty: Often comes with a reduction in Defense or Intelligence.
  • Uncontrollable: In extreme cases (like Berserk), the unit may become uncontrollable and attack the nearest target.

Sources

  • Fighter Skills: Abilities like Berserk or War Cry.
  • Mutations: Certain aggressive traits can trigger Rage at low health.
  • Items: Potions or cursed artifacts.

Strategy

  • Burst Damage: Use Rage to finish off a boss quickly before the drawbacks become fatal.
  • Management: A raging unit needs extra healing support as they will likely take more damage.
