The Tank class is the backbone of party survivability. By wearing high-protection collars, cats gain the bulk necessary to protect teammates and manipulate enemy positioning.

Stat Modifiers

  • Constitution (CON): +4 (Significant HP and defense boost)
  • Intelligence (INT): -1
  • Dexterity (DEX): -1

Core Design

  • Damage Absorption: Highest natural survivability in the game.
  • Control: Excels at pushing enemies around (Knockback) to keep them away from glass cannons like Mages or Hunters.
  • Body Blocking: Uses their physical presence to obstruct enemy movement and pathing.

Ability Archetypes (Confirmed)

  • Push/Shove: Moves an adjacent enemy 1 tile away.
  • Brace: Temporary shield or damage reduction for the next incoming hit.
  • Taunt: Forced AI targeting (common RPG mechanic confirmed in devlogs).

Synergies

  • Cleric: A Tank backed by a healer is nearly unkillable in the early game.
  • Mage: Pushing enemies into elemental tiles (Fire/Water) created by the Mage.
