Class: Monk

The Monk is a high-skill melee class that weaves in and out of combat. Instead of armor, Monks rely on Evasion and Speed to survive.

Core Mechanic: Flow (Ki)

Monks generate a unique resource called Flow by landing basic attacks or dodging enemies.

  • Flow Generation: +1 Flow per hit, +1 Flow per successful dodge.
  • Flow Spenders: Powerful abilities consume Flow to deal massive damage or provide utility.
  • Note: Flow decays if you do not attack or take damage for a turn.

Key Abilities

  1. Palm Strike: A quick melee attack that hits twice. Generates 2 Flow.
  2. Flying Kick: Uses 3 Flow. Launches the Monk across the map to kick an enemy. Distance scales with Speed.
  3. Meditation: Channeled ability. Consumes all Flow to heal self and increase Dodge chance by 20% per Flow stack.

Playstyle: The Weaver

  • Hit and Run: Use your high movement range to strike an enemy and retreat to cover.
  • Dodge Tanking: With high enough stats, a Monk can stand in the middle of enemies and dodge every attack, generating infinite Flow.
  • Weapons: Knuckles or Bare Hands (for speed bonus).
  • Armor: Cloth or None (Lightweight gear increases Dodge chance).
